The Nal Jal Mitra Programme (NJMP) is a skill development initiative under the Jal Jeevan Mission, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India. The programme aims to create a pool of multi-skilled technicians for the operation and maintenance of rural drinking water supply systems. It focuses on developing practical skills in plumbing, electrical work, pump operation, masonry, and water supply maintenance to support the “Har Ghar Jal” initiative.
